The Lymphedema Treatment Act (LTA) is a recent federal law set to take effect on 1/1/24. It improves insurance coverage for doctor-prescribed compression supplies used in lymphedema treatment, addressing a coverage gap in Medicare and potentially influencing Medicaid and private insurers.
